Overview

Kaman Distribution Group is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Bloomfield, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate, timely financial and accounting reporting and analysis to our management teams through the collection and monitoring of data. You will also partner with stakeholders in Human Resources and the business to process employee incentives and commissions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Run reports / download data from the General Ledger
• Create, modify, and re-engineer MS Excel and MS Access models
• Maintain incentive / commission databases in MS Access
• Calculate accruals and payments
• Generate employee statements for management teams throughout the business
• Support month-end closing processes by prepararing analyses, submitting journal entries relating to incentives and commissions
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis on an as-needed basis
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting related to operating results

Qualifications

Education: College degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Experience: 3-5 years of finance experience. Previous experience working in finance organizations supporting manufacturing or distribution industries preferred.
