Job description
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Sets up and performs machining operations on several / complex machines (4-5 axis) in the cell. Makes adjustments to meet customer requirements. Works to close tolerances. Develops and documents procedures.
+ Makes necessary adjustments and replaces tools as needed.
+ Performs all responsibilities within productivity and quality expectations. Follows work procedures.
+ Identifies problems, looks to troubleshoot issues or refers problems to appropriate individual.
+ May occasionally perform responsibilities of an assembler.
+ Maintains clean and safe work environment. Follows safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Reports safety incidents to supervisor.
+ Makes recommendations for improvements to work processes. Contributes to 5S program in work area.
+ Provides a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contributes to positive teamwork environment.
+ Performs other duties as assigned. Participates in training/learning other positions. Accomplishes related results as needed.
**Education:**
+ High school diploma/GED
**Experience:**
+ 5+ years of manufacturing experience
**Physical Demands:**
+ Continual standing
+ Frequent mental and visual attention
+ Frequent bending, twisting
+ Frequent grasping items and tools
+ Occasional (15-40%) lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
**Other:**
+ Will be required to work overtime and weekends to meet customer needs.
