The Senior Salon Services Technician's primary function is to respond to phone, email, chat, and other contacts from customers by providing information concerning our products and follow up on these inquiries. YOUR ROLE Provides technical assistance to all customers: salons, stylists, consumers, distributors and others. Log all inquiries into Astute Agent (Customer Service software) for monthly reporting and follow-up as needed. Experience with a customer service software program preferred. Follow-up inquiries with written response, questionnaires, assay request and any other that may require continued communication. Handle escalated projects as assigned by manager. Assist in the settlement of all escalated claims with manager. Alert Manager/ R&D Management of any inquiry concerning quality assurance. Conduct fragrance test for chemist and R&D staff. Attend education trainings and webinars to stay up to date with newest trends. Test and evaluate new and existing competitive products in the Test Salon to strengthen knowledge on the Hotline. **Scheduled work hours: 11am to 8pm EST, Monday through Friday**
YOUR SKILLS High School diploma, CT Hairdresser and Cosmetology license or from a reciprocal state, and a minimum of 5-10 years salon experience and 5-10 years of customer service to be eligible for this position. A good understanding and knowledge of hair care products and the chemical process of hair relating to texture reformation and hair color. Have an informed understanding of competitive products Must be able to communicate ideas and instructions with written and verbal clarity Must have good knowledge of PC and Microsoft programs **Scheduled work hours: 11am to 8pm EST, Monday through Friday** The salary range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Connecticut. This salary range may also me modified in the future.
