Position Summary:
Processes, reviews, conducts quality reviews and boards indirect consumer loans using the Credit Union's loan origination system. Serves as a point of contact for branch staff regarding direct consumer loans issues and boarding loans correctly to core system. Provides accurate and timely information to both internal and external customers regarding consumer loan and VISA products. Effectively communicates critical loan details to streamline the funding of loans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executes all steps necessary with exceptional attention to detail to set up and board consumer indirect loans.
- Completes all loan boarding while adhering to Credit Union policy, procedures and federal and state regulations.
- Understanding of all consumer products and processes with knowledge on properly boarding indirect and direct loans.
- Understands indirect and direct procedures on effectively booking loans in a timely manner.
- Provide instruction to branches on documents needed to complete direct loan files.
- Manages individual "Loan Processing" queue to fund indirect loans based on contract received date.
- Manages the "Indirect unable to fund" queue and prioritizes the loans to be boarded based on date of receiving dealer package.
- Initiates follow up with indirect dealers on pending loans.
- Processes completed Visa applications
- Responds to indirect dealership inquiries via department escalation queue regarding indirect loan issue.
- Communicates clearly and effectivity to Business Development Officers on indirect loan issues.
- Responds to branches needing assistance on consumer loan questions and booking processes via phone or email.
- Conducts quality control review of consumer indirect loan documentation for accuracy and completeness of documents
- Responsible for uploading and indexing all indirect membership applications and ID's Nautilus
- Assists the Member Contact Center with loan inquiries and transactions.
- Responsible for processing Loan Phone Center refinance checks
- Responsible for completing appropriate loan packages for our 3rd party title tracking vendor.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
High School or GED and minimum of 1 year of related experience.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to operate a personal computer with a high level of proficiency. Ability to operate a fax, calculator, copier and telephone.
