Responsibilities:
* Partner with the executive team, sales, operations, product, and marketing, provide analytical support and assist with financial performance management
* Manage the full spectrum of decision analysis, planning, and management reporting to assist with the business segment goals, including shorter term financial goals, KPIs, and longer-term strategy development and investment
* Identify and articulate of business unit opportunities and challenges in order to optimize business unit performance by continually reviewing and analyzing financial and operations data to model trends, identify relationships or spot opportunities; thinking outside the box and reviewing business information through a "new lens";
* Preparing compelling and clear data, reports, and presentations to share findings with other business leaders; brainstorming with peers to generate business improvement and strategic initiatives based on information; testing hypotheses and alternatives to find the optimal solution
* Collaborate with other leaders to identify new business models, customer markets/segments; pricing strategies; and assisting with building the business case for needed investments and strategic plans to deliver planned results.
* Creation of financial models to support decision making including driver based revenue models and serve as the lead in setting the approach and input variables, testing output to compare various forecast methods and determine the most optimal one to use.
* Facilitate the preparation, reporting and analysis of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, monthly outlooks, and 3 year plan.
* Anticipate potential questions and perform variance analyses independently and collaborate with management to resolve business issues.
* Prepare data reports and presentations and share analyses with the business leaders
* Implement financial and operational KPIs to establish a balanced scorecard for the specific CT customer segment
* Participate in the identification and articulation of business unit opportunities and challenges to optimize business unit performance
* Partner with the Accounting team to assist with timely and accurate close.
* Maintain an entrepreneurial "self-starter" mindset to take accountability and drive change
* Manage ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
* A minimum of five years of business operations or finance experience, including financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling experience; preferably within the legal/regulatory industry
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
* Experience with IFRS 15 preferred
* Experience interacting with and presenting to senior leadership
* Experience managing large and disparate data sets
* Business process engineering or re-engineering experience preferred
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Experience with Salesforce and Netsuite preferred
