Description

• Ability to structure and drive working sessions that promote collaboration, achieve synergy and achieve desired outcomes.
• Employ the proper elicitation techniques to ensure requirements are appropriately and efficiently identified, analyzed and documented using industry standard analysis techniques. Suggest creative technical and/or process solutions to identified business needs.
• Document and test new and existing system requirements. Participate in user acceptance testing.
• Experience in Agile development including creating/updating user stories using software defect tracking / project tracking system such as JIRA.
• Develop detailed business and functional requirements, using templates and tools consistent with the methodology employed. Suggest creative technical and/or process solutions to identified business needs.
• Provide support to software developers and testers, and help facilitate prioritization of user stories.
• Knowledge or experience with agile development is preferred. Collaborate with agile team to translate the business vision into language that can be consumed by development resources. Conversely, ensures the business understands the solution technology environment and can articulate it in their own words.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL NEED TO BRING THE FOLLOWING SKILLS TO THE TABLE:
• Five (5+) years of deep practical experience, with repeated experience performing business analysis in a variety of complex situations.
• Knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter application is a plus.
• Keen ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams.
• Strong familiarity in agile project delivery practices. Ability to structure and drive working sessions that promote collaboration, achieve synergy and achieve desired outcomes.
• Experience working within an Agile team. Participate in Sprint Planning and Daily Scrums.
• Strong sense of accountability and self-motivation.
