Overview

The Enterprise Director of Marketing is responsible for managing all areas of partnerships, programming, public relations, website, digital marketing and brand/collateral identity. This position will be based remotely and support The Westin San Antonio (San Antonio, TX), The Hotel at Avalon (Alpharetta, GA), The Brice Hotel (Savannah, GA) and The Brown Palace (Denver, CO). This position will be remote.
Responsibilities

As the Enterprise Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for the continued overall development of the brand and its related programming and. Develop and implement several multi-phased PR and marketing strategies as a part of the hotels' ongoing dedication to provide guests and locals alike a unique and distinctive experience. Create, manage and implement all-encompassing PR and marketing plans and programs, both short and long term to increase revenues and build awareness.

Works in tandem with all key areas of operations at each hotel, including food and beverage and sales & catering, to create experiential activations and integrated promotional opportunities in a continuous effort to further bolster the brands.

In this role, the Enterprise Director of Marketing and Public Relations will develop, manage, and execute a wide array of innovative and brand-differentiating programming within the portfolio. The Director will develop partnerships with like-minded brands within the hotels' communities, developing and creating events, partnerships and promotions based off of these forged. Create, foster and maintain positive relationships with local business partners, sponsors, talent, vendors, brands tastemakers and cultural institutions for collaborative event opportunities. Work closely with Operations teams to identify marketing opportunities as it relates to on-property events; work in tandem with teams for implementation of programming.

The Director will work closely with each hotel and provide strategic PR and marketing guidance to the hotel teams, and promote a culture of innovation and creativity via the on-property activations and partnerships in the various markets. Oversee all external and internal media and influencer partners and relationships. Work with digital counterparts to develop SEO strategy. Ability tomanagemarketing budget and performance-driven marketing plans. Ability to manage large-scale events and work in tandem with operations team on these events - from planning phase to management of events on-site - including but not limited to New Year's Eve, Halloween, various F&B events throughout the year.

Be the driving force behind all aspects of the in-house guest experience as it relates to, but not limited to, entertainment, activations, and guest programming. Develop impactful sponsorship marketing opportunities and activation executions that are aligned with the brand.

Oversee all on-property visual assets, including budget, strategy, development, and arrangement of photo and video shoots. Manage the production of all signage in hotel public areas. Partner with central marketing teams to develop creative materials required for on-property activations.

This role participates in the development and execution of relevant strategies and tactics which result in creative revenue generation via innovative programming and activation at a property level. The Enterprise Director will manage the relationship with social media, PR, and similar agencies, as well as assist with all marketing campaigns.

Manage creative process and provide strategic direction for all marketing related areas including but not limited to: social media, branding, signage, websites, digital & print advertising, collateral, and email campaigns. Development of press releases, media pitches, fact sheets, and client correspondences such as sales brochures.

Programming & Partnership


    - Develop local and national partnerships that align with each hotel's brand positioning
    - Create a robust programming calendar with weekly, monthly, and annual activations
    - Create a marketing campaign for each activation, including but not limited to social media, email marketing, website/digital campaigns, digital listings, and PR Outreach


Public Relations

    - Build strategic partnerships (link building campaign)
    - Coordinate with operations & reservations teams to build packages and source add-ons
    - Coordinate Press Release approval and distribution
    - Field media inquiries and conduct on-site media tours
    - Create press kits for visiting media and develop targeted media amenities
    - Communicate presence of in-house media to hotel teams
    - Attend and coordinate photographers for high-profile events on-site at supported hotels
    - Supervise on-site video/photo shoots
    - Participate in weekly PR calls/meetings
    - Save all incoming clips and maintain clip books
    - Monitor CVB PR leads
    - Maintain log of past high-profile guests
    - Prepare Image disks


Website and Guidebook Development

    - Develop and advertise promotions on each hotel's home pages
    - Conduct SEO conference calls
    - Responsible for ongoing maintenance and monitoring of hotel websites and third party websites
    - Responsible for managing hotel's Social Media pages

Advertising

    - Create and implement advertising calendar
    - Maintain advertising insertion orders/P.O.s
    - Provide art direction and responsible for all advertising and marketing campaigns
    - Coordinate email blasts for each hotel to extend promotional reach
    - Accommodate field advertising requests
    - Coordinate all outgoing ads (both web and print)


Hotel Responsibilities

    - Schedule weekly meetings with operations and sales
    - Communicate PR/marketing initiatives to key members of hotel staff
    - Travel required up to 4 times per month
    - Provide support to hotel team members as needed
    - Performs any other job related duties as assigned.
