Are you an up-and-coming HR professional who has a solid foundation in HR, a diverse range of interests, and a desire to be exposed to the full scope of HR functions (i.e., Employee Relations, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, New Hire Orientation, Leave Management) in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We are seeking a candidate that is customer-focused, self-motivated and possesses an innate ability to establish strong working relationships at all levels within the organization. The successful candidate must have a high level of learning agility (quickly learn, apply, then master), strong project management, superb excel and data management skill sets, customer service driven, problem solving, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Support hiring managers in recruitment efforts including posting jobs and creating offer letters
* Manage the HR Onboarding process for all new hires, conducting New Hire Orientation, coordinating payroll paperwork, and ensuring compliance with employee eligibility verifications
* Oversee and manage employee termination process, to include conducting exit interviews
* Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, assist the HR Director in conducting investigations, and maintain associated documentation
* Maintain department and employee files, job descriptions, to ensure accuracy and up to date, in accordance with applicable laws and company policies
* Manage company-specific HR data and workforce planning reports with HR Director (i.e., headcount, terminations, turnover, new hires/requisitions, retention, ad hoc reports, HRIS audit reports, etc.)
* Assist with disability processes for Short Term/Long Term Disability and FMLA while ensuring adherence to ADA and HIPAA
* Participate in corporate HR project teams/programs and other cross-functional initiatives
* Support HR Director on administration of employee engagement surveys and action planning
* Assist HR and department leaders in various objectives to drive an inclusive and diverse culture
* Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Master's degree and/or PHR/SPHR/SHRM Certification a plus
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in any of the following: employee relations/investigations, performance management, leave management, onboarding/offboarding process, policies and procedures and legal compliance
* Experience with HR technology, including HRIS such as Oracle HCM a plus
* Highly technical aptitude in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
* Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations to effectively resolve issues that is consistent with employment law and regulations as well as company standard and policies.
* Ability to perform confidential research related to HR issues, compile and evaluate data for recommendations
* Exceptional oral and written skills
* Exceptional organizational skills with strong adherence to meeting deadlines
* Ability to objectively analyze current practices, identify process improvement opportunities and successfully influence and implement appropriate changes
* Customer service and team oriented
* Ability to work in a fast pace and ambiguous environment
