Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for cross channel planning process, including plan implementation and liaisons with internal and external partners to develop schedules and allocations. Drives a high performance culture and environment. Works closely with media trafficking specialists to air proper creative across Charter footprint. Work with management within the organization to establish the infrastructure needed to support channel partners.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates, maintains, and coordinates cross channel allocations across all available inventory.

Coordinates on-air copy rotations between Charter and all third party MSOs.

Determines creative rotation weighting percentage in accordance to media level and fulfillment requirements.

Creates cross channel media schedules for corporate marketing television advertising inventory.

Works closely with Cross Channel Manager to tactically drive company-wide goals and initiatives.

Works with media analysts to review contracts and post analysis reports.

Analyzes areas within the planning workflow that can be improved and suggest process enhancements.

Handles ad hoc requests that may surface in a timely and efficient manner.

Creates media schedules on a monthly basis.

Manages multiple markets/systems with full oversight on cross channel activity.

Responsible for integration of systems, data and inventory.

Works directly with Spectrum Reach teams in management of all activity.

Works with brand and creative team for Residential, Multicultural and SMB business units.

Maintains traffic instructions for addressable TV campaigns

Works with Spectrum News Networks marketing team.

Works with Partnerships & Promotions team to ensure Co-Op plans run as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Ability to analyze and interpret information

Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

Strong analytical skills

Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Strong ability to perform independently and proactively while working in a team environment

Ability to prioritize and organize effectively to manage multiple projects and tasks

Ability to manage all phases of a large project from beginning to end with sufficient autonomy

Ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization, many different disciplines and varying degrees of technical and business experience

Ability to work independently, make recommendations and decisions, and resolve problems while working under pressure

Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to think strategically

Exemplary verbal and written communication and superior interpersonal and presentation skills

Strong time management and problem solving skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline and/or an equivalent experience

Related Work Experience Number of Years

Relevant media/cross channel experience 3+

Ad planning and trafficking knowledge a plus

Previous media planning experience at a cable network or ad agency a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS

Standard office environment

May require occasional travel (10-20%) MGNBR
