We are currently seeking a R&D Chemist in Wallingford, CT . Your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to:

· Support regional wetting and dispersing market needs.

· Independently performs laboratory activities.

· Write SOPs for laboratory procedures, instruments, and analytical methods.

· Compile, document and interpret results of experiments, tests, and analyses.

· Independently develop and deliver formal internal technical presentations.

· Write technical reports or prepare graphs and charts to document experimental results.

· Communicate technical information through internal or external reports.

· Proactively document, address and correct all unsafe behaviors and conditions.

· Participate in inventory audits and lab inspections.

· Perform routine daily maintenance functions such as clean-up, trash disposal, washing equipment, disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with established procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor of Arts/Science in chemistry or related field

· Minimum 4 years' experience in Additives/Coatings (or related field)
