About Us

FinTron Invest is a fast-growing fintech startup, SEC registered, FINRA Member Broker-Dealer on a mission to make investing, banking and financial knowledge more accessible and appealing to young consumers. FinTron believes that investing has been intimidating for too long, and that anyone should be able to take control of their finances (not just the 1%). FinTron recently launched its investing, budgeting, and banking app with support from well-known influencers and is now actively growing its user base.

We strive to accelerate personal finance for the Mobile-First Generation through affordable financial products, and access to free education. FinTron has a simulated investing game, FinTronU where players build a portfolio by purchasing simulated stocks without the stress of owning a stock. Additionally, as a free education provider, we provide various lessons and assessments so people can test out their financial knowledge at no cost.

The Role & What We Are Looking For

A highly skilled, Senior Full-Stack Developer to begin January 1st, 2022. In this role, the dev will lead our full-stack team, become fully integrated into the stack with a greater emphasis on backend systems. The Full-Stack dev will be trained to administer the admin environment and become the senior systems engineer, on-call for systems patches, debugging and optimization. This dev will demonstrate sound technical skills and code in the weeds with our current dev team! We are looking for a developer who is eager to learn and driven to dive into a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. The dev will be reporting directly to the CEO. The dev should be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of languages and databases as outlined below. Must be within a 45 minute to 1 hour commute and will be required to work in the office.

Developer will be utilizing several languages and databases such as:

• JavaScript
• Jenkins
• React JS Framework
• React Native
• Node
• Python
• Django Framework
• MySQL
• Redux middleware
• AWS
• MongoDB

Must Have Qualification

• Experience with end to end full-stack mobile application and web development
• Proven 8+ years of industry experience in full-stack development (both front and back-end)
• Excellent verbal and written communication - high attention to detail
• Manage time efficiently and is highly collaborative - ability to lead a team.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
