Job description
Marquis & Co. is a multi-unit fast casual and full-service restaurant chain, with locations across PA, DC and NY. The IT Systems Manager will be responsible for installing, maintaining and managing the Company's IT systems and assets, both in-store, and at the corporate office. The ideal candidate will have previous multi-unit restaurant or retail experience.

In Store:
- POS Systems, Windows-based;
- Broadband LAN and WiFi networks with security features;
- Wireless tablets;
- Music, alarm, camera and security systems
Corporate:
- Company-wide e-commerce digital ordering systems and third party middleware database integrations;
- Office 365 Email Administrative Management;
- Cloud-based File management systems (Office 365);
- Broadband and WiFi Network with security;
- PC and Mac computers;
- Graphic Arts programs;
- Cloud-based accounting and restaurant management systems
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- First line of support to respond to and resolve support calls from employees related to hardware and software issues. Provides technical support and guidance to restaurant and corporate employees.
- Assists with on-site installation, service and training for any hardware/software needs within the restaurants and corporate office
- On-call support for restaurants during times of technical issues or service disruption
- Diagnoses and resolves POS hardware/software problems. Provides troubleshooting or escalation to vendors as needed.
- Interface with Senior Management and Operations Management regarding the evaluation, selection and implementation of e-commerce systems, POS systems and middleware systems.
- Serve as database administrator for e-commerce, POS systems and middleware systems, ensuring the integrity, security and reliability of these systems.
- Interface with Senior Management and Marketing Department, regarding the collection and interpretation of SEO, social and other digital marketing data.
- Oversees the administration of Office365 platforms, included but not limited to new user setup, training and maintenance of the programs.
- Ensures the overall security of the company's hardware and software. Maintains an integral structure for backing up files.
- Acts as the network administrator to ensure applicable security access to groups, files and technological equipment.
- Troubleshoots network performance issues and maintains a disaster recovery plan. Makes recommendations for upgrades, patches, and new equipment as they see needed.
- Works with web developers to ensure the appropriate setup and functionality of company sites.
- Ensures proper processing of IT provisioning requests. Issues and tracks all company hardware. Maintains records of serial numbers, issuance information.
- Procures, provisions and delivers new equipment based on needs, budget and method of use.
- Suggests changes or upgrades to existing hardware/software to better aide the end user.
- Works with and manages technology providers and vendors to ensure adherence to service levels.
- Evaluate, vet and purchase necessary technology products
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of IT requirements on all projects: setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing progress on each project. Creates project plans with detailed and accurate project scopes and realistic timeframes for completion.
- Implements policies and procedures regarding how to identify, document and resolve all IT issues. Ensures that all IT processes and procedures are clearly documented and followed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work full-time, in office in Philadelphia, PA
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT in a similar role
- Restaurant, Hospitality or Retail experience highly preferred
- Experience with or well-developed knowledge of Office 365, POS systems and other restaurant business intelligence software
- Experience with hardware installations - desktops, mobile devices, Wifi networks, video/alarm systems, etc.
- Able to work independently to project manage technical needs

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
