The Automation Technician will interact with the leadership group, production team members, quality assurance, and other maintenance technicians to improve and maximize plant output, efficiency, quality and safety. Duties will include proactively troubleshooting, diagnosing and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production and plant support equipment.

What you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification/certification.
• Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent certification or completion of an accredited apprenticeship.
• 5 years of experience within the electronics field.
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably food manufacturing. [[Question: 671884]]
• 1 year of mechanical experience preferred.
• Functional knowledge of mechanical components (valves, pipe fittings, bearings, motors, gearboxes, etc.).
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in mechanical systems.
• Computer skills, with the capability to use email, compile reports and spreadsheets for parts and project tracking.
• Willingness to work in a refrigerated (34°F) and wet environment.
