Our client, a leading networking equipment manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst - Personalization to join its team in the Digital Marketing organization.

The person selected for this role will be hired by BIS Consulting, Inc. (W2,1099,CC) to work with our direct client. This is a remote work role, open to candidates who reside within the United States.

What this team does: We'll be focused on agile business requirement gathering, situational analysis, backlog prioritization, post-implementation analysis and roadmap building of our foundational capabilities that will modernize our external website and prepare us for new go to market business motions.

Top Foundational Capabilities: Include hyper personalization, free trial management, offer management and other path to purchase strategies to optimize our website as a demand engine

Business Analyst Role Requirements -


· Responsible to understand and document Business Requirements in the form of Epics and Functional User stories that the external website 'Experience teams' share while working with stakeholders.

o Scope of requirements would include User experience and capability aspects of the experience e.g. When you click on this button, we need to show a video as a pop up or Ability to integrate chatbot or specific ability to personalize the page based on criteria.

· The role does NOT include documenting or building Wireframes or Figma files for any of the look and feel aspects of the Experience.

· Role needs to articulate clearly business pain points, situational analysis, and opportunity definition

· Role needs to document assumptions, dependencies, and process specific requirements.

· Expected to uncover the As-Is process and help document the desired to-be process state.

· Role needs to understand our Global Digital MarTech capability portfolio and group or categorize the business requirements into different capability areas - help manage the capability backlogs and align to Experience backlog

· The role includes working with the various MarTech Product / Capability owners to make sure requirements are understood, clarified, and vetted.

· The role needs to share, coordinate, and walk through the requirements and collaborate with tech stack product owners, SME's and IT analysts for them to develop a solution

· Role needs to build E2E User testing use cases as part of the sprint release process

· Role needs to review KPIs and contribute to interpreting the insights and how it applies to optimizations and learnings to improve on experiences that are built

Skills -

1. 5+ years of Business Analysis skills specifically in the Marketing space, MarTech experience a must

  • 3+ years of experience specifically in business analysis across multiple capability areas of Marketing - .COM, Marketing Automation, Content management, Assets management, customer data, free trials, ecommerce etc.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite of platforms preferred
  • Experience with Agile methodology is helpful

5. Act as a bridge / conduit between the Strategy & Experience team and the Marketing technology and IT capability teams

6. Very good interpersonal skills, documentation and facilitation skills, Proactive, High attention to detail, diligent follow up and strong communication skills

7. Passion for the business context, not just the technical solution

8. Comfortable presenting with empathy (awareness of stakeholder perspective and speak in their language)

9. Ability to multitask, set priorities, be resourceful in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure.

10. Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment
