BAE Systems in Washington DC is seeking a Systems Integrator/Business Analyst to support the Strategic Systems Program (SSP). The ideal candidate must possess strong problem solving skills, a high degree of technical expertise, and a commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork. Candidate must be able to meet DoD Cyber workforce requirements within 6 months of being hired. Primary responsibilities include:
- Experience working with customers, stakeholders, and diverse teams to elicit and analyze requirements
- Work with the customers to design a software solution to meet those requirements
- Provide recommendations on improving business processes and workflows
- Be a primary point of contact with customers for applications and system in their assigned portfolio
- Ability to Prepare an executable Project Plan and Schedule
- Ability to decompose complex activities into tasks that can be distributed to teammates or completed personally
- Ability to develop a plan monitor execution of the project and schedule
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and access to the customer facility
- Evaluate products and upgrades for appropriateness of cost and compatibility
- Researches current systems technology and serve as subject matter expert on complex systems processes and procedures
- Draft technical instructions, technical designs and other technical documentation
- Prepare training materials and provide training to end users in a group or in one-on-one setting
- Configure and perform administrative duties on implemented solutions
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and at least 6 years of work experience
- Must possess an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Communicate effectively with customers and developers, both verbally and in writing and clearly document Software Systems requirements
- Demonstrated experience with configuring Software Applications
- Proven history of successful interaction in a Client-Facing environment
- Ability to meet the requirements for an IAT II as specified in the DoD 8570 within 6 months of start
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners and government officials
- Ability to obtain and maintain Common Access Card (CAC) along with badge access to the customer's facility
- Ability to obtain and maintain a network account in good standing on the customer's network
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Knowledge of software configuration management processes
- Knowledge of software, application or system development process and testing
- Background in IT to include an understanding of computer networks and IT Systems
- Experience in writing SQL queries
- Self-Starting, proactive approach to tasks
- Strong learning capacity for software tools and technologies
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Familiar with DISA's Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIGS)
