Job description

Position Title: Test Lead/Business Analyst
Duration: 2 Years
Location: Springfield, IL (REMOTE till COVID Restriction lifted - date unknown)
Resource Must be located within the State of Illinois and work full-time on this project between the approximate hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm for 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 30-minute lunch break per day.
Dynamic Interactive Business System Inc. is looking for an IT Business/Tester for its Direct Client in Springfield, IL.
This would be a 2 Years contract and the candidate will commit to the project duration at the agreed-upon pay rate from DIBSYS Inc. for the entire duration.
Here are the minimum requirements for the position:
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience working as an IT Systems Test Manager, including such areas as Development of test plans, scenarios, and scripts necessary to fully test system requirements; Tracking of requirements traceability; and reporting of results on a frequent and regular basis. The ability to forecast future plans and expectations is needed.
  • Must be located within the State of Illinois and work full-time on this project between the approximate hours of 8 am and 5 pm for 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 30-minute lunch break per day.
  • The ability to commit to the project duration is required, including a commitment to DIBSYS Inc.'s pay rate, terms, (and benefits, if desired).
  • Knowledge of the Illinois Grant Accountability and Transparency Act is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with MS Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to understand complex concepts and convert them into meaningful Test Scenarios and Test Scripts that fully test each scenario.
  • Ability to receive and understand written and oral instructions in the English language.
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet or exceed deadlines.
  • Experience with AmpliFund software is a plus.
  • Experience organizing large groups of people into scheduled meetings is a plus, preferably utilizing MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS SharePoint.
  • Attention to detail is mandatory.
  • Preferred: documenting existing and future processes using software products including MS Word, Visio, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Desirable: Experience working for State Government, preferably Illinois.
  • Desirable: Experience with the administration of Federal Grant funds as governed by OMB 2 CFR Part 200, including Pre-Award, Award, and Post-Award processes.
  • Desirable: Experience developing training plans.
  • Travel: It may be necessary to travel to Chicago or Springfield from time to time, for a duration of one day or less per week, based on project and business needs. Costs of travel are built into the hourly rate charged and will not be reimbursed.
  • At this time as of November 2021, there is no travel required as all resources are working remotely.
  • If Travel does become necessary, there is expected to be video conferencing available between Springfield and Chicago offices, so that project team members can travel to the location nearest their home, either Springfield or Chicago.
