Job Description
As a valued colleague on our Multifamily Chief Operating Office team, you will gather customer requests and collaborate with your team to determine solutions to solve business needs, use applications and BI tools to explore and understand data, and collaborate with the team to prepare plans to find solutions.

Responsibilities
The Business Intelligence Associate - Multifamily role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities
- Assist with identifying and addressing customer needs and strive to do what's right for our customers.
- Coordinate activities with team to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence (BI) applications and tools. Partner with team to design data visualizations, technical documentation, and non-technical presentation materials to communicate ideas and solutions to business partners
- Support developing and implementing automated business processes and mechanisms to generate meaningful reports to help us deliver on Fannie Mae's vision and purpose. Partner with more experienced team members to design reporting solutions that support risk measurement, decision making, and business performance.
- Compile data and analyses to drive business decision-making capabilities. Gather and report on business needs and current capabilities, data availability, and alternative uses from business stakeholders
- Assist with identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
- Demonstrated experience in a business and data analysis role (business process, data, reporting, requirements, research, etc.). Must be able to analyze data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data.
- Advanced MS Office Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, e.g. vlookups, pivot tables, advanced calculations and formulas)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all level of management and customers. Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with internal stakeholders, facilitate meetings and resolve conflict.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge and understanding of data preparation and querying tools such as Tableau, SQL, Alteryx, or Python.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Multifamily business systems and underlying data.
- Knowledge and experience with Fannie Mae tools, services and applications.
- Prior experience interacting with customers, identifying their data needs and pain points and developing reporting solutions.
