Overview:

Polinger Company has an immediate opening for an experienced Commercial Property Manager for our clients Class A commercial building in excess of 250,000 sq ft in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will report to the Asset Manager with daily duties interacting with tenants and coordinating their service requests.

Responsibilities:

Thecandidatewill be responsible for the professional management and operation of the property including but not limited to:

  • Ensure compliance with local/federal laws and codes.
  • Review of financial reports, monthly variance reports, invoice coding, operating within budget.
  • Construction management including capital improvements, tenant build out and familiarity with construction draws.
  • Provide excellent tenant relationships and service, responding to tenant requests/problems in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Oversee and ensure that all areas of the property are always well presented.
  • Oversee and ensure that all operational systems are in working order and escalate problems to the appropriate contacts when necessary.
  • Meet regularly with asset management, to strategize and ensure collaboration.
  • Supervising and coordinating building engineers.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree and three years of experience in Building Management; 6 years of experience in building management/supervision of construction may be substituted for the degree requirement. Prolonged walking and standing required.
  • Prior experience in tenant relations and ability to interact with tenants and vendors to obtain positive outcomes.
  • Prior experience computerized work order systems, experience in reporting formats and spreadsheets required.
  • Prior experience with building renovations/repairs required
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and delegate.
