Positions Available:
Full-time 2s/3s/4s Teacher
Full-time Support Staff ("Floater")

About You:

A dedicated, passionate, collaborative, and creative early childhood educator
Interested in a full-time or part-time schedule beginning ASAP.
Qualified to serve in a Lead, Assistant, or Special Educator role
Have a CDA, AA, BA, or higher degree
Experience working with young children (ages 2-5)
Familiarity with progressive, play-based curriculum development
Teaching experience in multicultural environments preferred

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement intentional, emergent curriculum
  • Create and maintain a classroom space that offers children an attractive, engaging environment
  • Be an effective team player, work collaboratively with teaching team and school administration
  • Develop effective communication and partnership with families
  • Conduct two parent conferences a year to discuss child development with parents/guardians and write corresponding student narratives
  • Guide and support students' acquisition of social skills
  • Be responsible for children's safety at all times and in all settings
  • Conduct developmental screenings with all children
  • Implement Individual Family Service Plans or Individualized Education Plan with Director of Early Childhood Development & Family Support, as applicable
  • Provide ongoing observation and authentic assessment of individual children and maintain a comprehensive portfolio assessment for each child
  • Respond to regular direct instructional coaching feedback
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary commensurate with experience and education

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $38,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
