Job description
EHS Technician
The EHS Technician provides technical support and actively participates in all Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (EHS) practices and procedures, including corporate and local EHS initiatives, federal and local laws / regulations, data interpretation and development of corrective actions to the EHS function in areas such as: risk assessments (RA), task risk analysis (JSA), industrial hygiene, support in the management or coordination of hazardous / non-hazardous waste and / or recycling, containment of spills, personal protective equipment (PPE), chemical control and related areas. Promotes a safe and healthy work environment. Conduct and participate in EHS inspections, audits, trainings, and presentations.
Requirements:
Minimum Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Electromechanics and / or Environmental Sciences.
Preferable: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences; Health Education, Industrial Hygiene.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar tasks.
· Bilingual (English / Spanish).
· Experience: Two (2) to three (3) years in EHS, OSHA, PROSHA, EPA, JCA ISO 14001 matters.
Knowledge in Health and Safety
License: Driver - Valid
