Position: Field Service Engineer

Location: REMOTE with 70% travel

Job Type: Direct Hire-Perm role

Clearance: Must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Job Description:
To provide Service support for customers at onsite locations with the end goals of restoring functionality to our customers' assets while delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.

Responsible for performing both on-site field maintenance and service jobs

On-site maintenance would include preventative maintenance and repair at customer location, includes travelling to multiple customer sites to perform start-up, commissioning, and/or repair services. Estimated 70% travel - including business meetings and service jobs.

Responsibilities and Skills/Abilities

  • Read, write and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
  • Troubleshooting and repairing of complex audio/visual, operator interfaces, video walls and networking systems
  • Experience working with IT networks and switches
  • Knowledge of signal flow for audio, video and control
  • Ability to solder & crimp connectors
  • Programming capability (AMX/Creston/Etc.) - changes and troubleshooting
  • Advanced Network skill set and troubleshooting capable (ie) Cisco, AMX, Crestron
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills of audio, video, software, networks and control systems
  • Software savvy (ie) Crestron, AMX, Jupiter, Barco, Biamp, Christie, Planar

Education and/or Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of integration experience
  • Knowledge of Systems integration projects and experience with engineering drawings used to repair/replace components in the system
  • Experience developing and maintaining good customer relationships
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and willing to take ownership with minimal direct supervision
  • 5 or more of the following training, experience and/or certifications in:
    • AMX
    • Crestron
    • Cisco
    • Barco
    • VuWALL
    • Jupiter
    • Planar
    • Mitsubishi
    • Networking
