Job description

My client is currently looking for a Financial & Business Strategy Analyst to work in the Greater NY area (with the flexibility to work from home as needed). Reporting to our CEO, the Financial & Business Stragey Analyst will bring their entreprenurial spirit, analytical expertise, knowledge in working with Information Technology or SaaS businesses, and experience in working with venture capital backed companies. Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the strategic and financial planning processes, including monthly business reviews, budget planning and forecasting, identifying cost savings, and scoping new opportunities

· Analyze and help improve all customer lifecycle reports, acquisition analysis and account structures

· Evaluate new growth opportunities, analyze revenue trends, ARPU and customer acquisition trends

· Make meaningful recommendations based on analysis of data & drive approved recommendations to execution based on stakeholder feedback

· Present weekly reports to senior management

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Bachelors' degree in business, finance, accounting or related field

· MBA with concentration in finance is preferred

· Minimum of 4 years' (post undergrad degree) or 2 years' (post MBA) experience as a Financial Analyst

· Demonstrated collaborative project experience

· Track record of leveraging data for business impact

· Strong research abilities and ability to deep dive into data, identifying and quantifying opportunities and design creative solutions

· Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills

· Ability to utilize and extract large amounts of data from a variety of systems such as: Salesforce, Tableau, Stripe, and others

· Analyze and interpret results utilizing standard tools and techniques

· Advanced experience working spreadsheets (Excel and Google Sheets)

· Proven expertise building reports, graphs, power point presentations

· Proven experience building financial projections

· Experience working closely with CFOs, controllers, and accountants

· Experience working closely with and presenting to C-suite executives, board of directors and investors

· Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

· Travel: not much but ready for 3-4 trips a year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
