Description
HRDC3 Client Services Team provides end-to-end HR client staffing support (from recruitment to separation) and implements HR processes for ECA/MNA regions, MIGA and ICSID client groups.
The Recruiter position is embedded in every Client Services team and is responsible for providing support and guidance with the overall recruitment process including the sourcing of candidates, building pipelines, assessment of candidates, selection, and onboarding. The Recruiter supports both managerial and non-managerial selections and uses a variety of recruitment strategies and methodologies to serve the dynamic business needs of the client group. The Recruiter provides advisory service to HR manager, HR Business Partners in the team and clients on optimal recruitment strategies, policy and process. The Recruiter is responsible for identifying qualified candidates to fill vacant positions while ensuring a diverse mix of staff.
The Recruiter in HRDC3 team will provide first class recruitment support to ECA, MNA, MIGA and ICSID clients. Working directly with the business stakeholders and HR business partners, the Recruiter will be expected to establish and lead the recruitment process to meet short-term and long-term talent planning and gap strategies; will ensure that the recruitment function provides cutting edge best practices to its clients, including new ways of assessing talent and an enhanced analytical capacity. The Recruiter will be expected to bring innovative best practices in various thematic areas, identify ways to enhance effectiveness of the recruitment process, and participate in other recruitment related tasks and special projects within the team such as nationality focused recruitments (eg. MNA Fellows Program).
Main responsibilities:
• Strategy/Sourcing/Pipeline Development
o Serve as trusted strategic advisor to hiring managers by understanding their business and their needs. Operationalize WFP via internal and external markets to identify, attract and engage talent.
o Advise on strategies for sourcing and advertise vacancies in COMPASS, social media and via networks. Effectively partner with targeted search or executive recruiters as needed.
o Meet hiring goals and expectations in regard to diversity of experience, nationality, and other background
o Proactively build talent pipeline, nurturing relationships with qualified candidates for current and future opportunities
o Plan and coordinate recruiting networking events as needed
• Candidate Assessment and Selection
o Participate in selection process from candidate engagement and attraction through longlist, shortlist and interview through extending an offer
o Engage with candidates to brief on opportunity and benefits of career within the World Bank Group
o Carry out reference checks and initial onboarding in coordination with other units/ teams
o Provide feedback and career advice to staff as needed
• Analysis/Business Acumen
o Demonstrate ability to think strategically, analytically and objectively. Effectively able to manage with data by translating data into actionable insights, strategies and action plans. Provide recruitment analytics to support corporate initiatives and hiring managers
o Conduct competitive research on market trends and provide direction to improve HR process in relation to recruiting and retention
o Demonstrate knowledge of HR recruitment policy
o Well-developed communication skills with the ability to relate effectively with a wide range of people, positively influencing outcomes and obtaining cooperation
• Branding and Employer Value Proposition
o Design and carry out recruitment missions
o Provide input to policies and compensation (recruitment; attractiveness, systems, etc.)
o Participate in outreach (fairs, universities)
o Update information on WBG Careers page and materials to maintain current
Selection Criteria
• Master's degree in HR or related field with at least 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive experience developing and executing on candidate generation strategies and building a pipeline of talent. This includes directly sourcing candidates, building relationships for the long term with an emphasis on diversity
• Proven ability to work effectively, with tact and diplomacy while maintaining strict confidentiality
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills; meaningful people acumen is essential
• Experience using CRM software and other Applicant Tracking Systems
• Advanced knowledge of Talent Sourcing tools and candidate evaluation experience
• Ability to analyze compensation packages and negotiate with candidates successfully
• Attention to details and project management skills essential
• Experience performing scrupulous research, industry calibration, and reference checking to make sure we are targeting the best of the best
• Ability to identify clients' unarticulated needs when it comes to talent gaps
