Job description

Role Specific Duties:

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hirers and ensure completion of all paperwork effectively to ensure a smooth start.
  • Own the employee experience. Strive to maintain the great company culture that is known for.
  • Ensure all personnel files are complete and compliant with all laws and regulations.
  • Serve as company's Security Officer. Guide employees through the security clearance process. This will require the ideal candidate to be compliant with all background clearance requirements at any government agency.
  • Respond to government and other requests concerning current and former employees.
  • Employee Engagement + Culture Initiatives - support and help build systems and processes that engrain a culture of support
  • Manage HRIS platform (ADP) - keep all HRIS information accurate and up to date
  • Conduct Employee and Manager check ins via Employee Performance Platform (Lattice).
  • Responsible for offboarding and exit interviews of separating employees
  • Manage all internal events with the help of the extended team such as happy hours, celebrations, team building, etc.
  • Support management with a variety of tasks when required
  • Assist in development and implementation of the human resources policies
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management in reviewing disputes. Help with the investigations and make sure that the proper disciplinary process is followed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years relevant experience in a human resources position
  • Organized, detail orientated, demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Previous experience with online timesheet and payroll systems strongly preferred
  • Must be confident in handling ambiguity and fluid situations and be able to prioritize in an ever-changing environment.
  • Capable of maintaining confidential information and matters with discretion
  • Must have ability to work as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Experience managing a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) a strong plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
