Afiniti is looking for a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Manager to oversee the implementation, management, and administration of our HRIS. The HRIS Manager will report to the Chief People Officer and will collaborate with leaders in our HR Operations, Recruiting, and Strategy & Planning verticals to ensure that we are maximizing the capabilities of our current HRIS, and to identify and implement solutions for evolving our HRIS.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and maintains optimal function of Afiniti's HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.
- Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information security, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
- Collaborates with executive leadership and HR team members to identify HRIS improvements and enhancements; develops business plans for change and recommends and implements solutions.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
- Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
- Assists Afiniti's HR Data Analyst with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
- Assists in other HR projects as requested.
Required (Minimum) Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product
- Knowledge and experience for best practices in HR applications and processes in global company context
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred:
- At least ten years of experience in HRIS administration and oversight
- In-depth experience with Paycom's HRIS product
- Experience with HRIS administration in multi-national companies
- Experience with new HRIS/HCM implementation project in multinational company is a plus
