This on-location, hands on and accessible Human Resources Manager performs a wide variety of HR Generalist duties, which include a high level of client service and support with focus on the assigned business groups and/or locations, along with any other assigned groups, duties or regional projects. The human resources function is responsible for strategy and execution of programs and practices that attract, motivate and retain diverse talent, delivering exceptional results and ensuring the long-term success of the location, assigned business functions and firm. The HR Manager will share our commitment to hard work, delivery of measurable results, innovation, increased scalability and being dedicated to serving our internal clients. Functions may include a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to employee lifecycle process and ownership in recruitment, interviewing/selection, onboarding, employee relations, location development, training, diversity and inclusion, citizenship, social activities, emergency preparedness, compliance, offboarding and day to day administration. Like other HR Managers, additional duties, projects and/or HR business partner groups will be assigned.
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Partner with the business services recruiting team to source applicants, complete assessments, interview and hire, assuring full regulatory compliance and focus on diversity and/or underrepresentation efforts. While the BS recruiting team specializes in recruiting, this role is involved heavily in screening and selection and representing the firm in recruiting and community presence. When BS recruiting is at capacity and/or if there are special departmental needs/focus, this role works as a recruiter, in the sourcing and screening of candidates, with focus on roles located in the location and/or functional units supported;
* Responsible for full life cycle generalist support as a human resources business partner for assigned locations and/or functional department(s).
* Responsible for onboarding and offboarding new employees;
* Responsible for analyzing employment trends in the location(s)/business functional units, reporting results, and developing/monitoring action plans.
* Acts is primary point of contact for general employee issues, collaboration, coaching, concerns or information.
* Works with departmental leaders to address employee relations issues, conducting any necessary investigations, documenting events, conducting counseling, and implementing disciplinary actions as needed in coordination with the HR Director;
* Works closely with both global functional HR Business Partners and regional human resources specialists in areas such as HRIS, diversity and inclusion, compensation, benefits, payroll, learning and development, and recruiting to assure consistency, location/functional development, compliance, delivery of functional duties and programming locally, effective data, analytics and reporting, effective cost management and cost containment, and most importantly strong client service.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Solid interpersonal skills, professional presentation and the ability to interact well with all internal and external personnel, clients and vendors;
* Must maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment;
* Must have strong business understanding, leadership, organizational and analytical ability;
* Demonstrated skills in employee relations, organizational development and recruitment/interviewing/selection;
* Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of compensation, benefits, and human resources information systems and;
* Substantive knowledge of HR employment and labor regulations, conflict resolution, and policies.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes non-structured environment, prioritizing, and juggling multiple tasks, solving problems and demonstrating resourcefulness
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE
* Minimum 5 - 7 years HR generalist experience required, with hands-on substantive experience in employee relations, recruitment, business partnering, HR operations and training;
* Law firm or professional services firm experience in human resources desirable;
* College degree in business, finance or human resources strongly preferred; and
* HR certification and/or advanced HR degree desirable.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
* Ability to travel to other offices, as requested or required.
* Ability to work outside normal business hours to support 24x7 operations as needed.
* This is a sedentary role requiring the incumbent to work for several hours at a workstation.
HOURS
* Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. As an exempt professional role, flexibility to work additional hours to meet requirements of position duties required.
