Who we seek:
Public Label is currently looking for an Integrated Marketing Account Manager to join our team. We're looking for someone who can serve as a day-to-day client liaison on all programs from development through complete execution, managing all facets independently with little supervision. The Account Manager acts as a key point of contact and partner for our clients, internal teams, and vendors. At this level, the Account Manager has a strong understanding of marketing communications, client service fundamentals and the business acumen to lead several marketing programs and manage competing timelines. They have the ability to work independently and collaboratively. They effectively report up and keep supervisors informed of the specifics of each program, as well as foster the development of junior staff/reports. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail planning and shopper marketing execution as part of a 360 integrated campaign.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Primary day-to-day client liaison on all program details from development through complete execution, managing all facets independently with little supervision and in a timely manner
- Run medium to large scale programs with supervision. Ability to work across multiple accounts/projects simultaneously
- Aide in the development of briefs and program documents in conjunction with the leadership team
- Participate in the creative development of projects, reviewing/auditing feasibility of ideas and provide costing
- Develop and manage program critical paths and work back schedules
- Assist in running the client IAT and process
- Assist in leading the client planning process
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams (creative, production, finance, strategy), client teams, IAT partners, and vendor partners
- Fully understand the client's business needs and challenges
- Write and present strong presentations and/or program documents and reports to clients.
- Manage overall program financials in a timely manner.
- Keep senior account lead informed of all account activities.
- Engage in analytic analysis, where appropriate.
- Assess whether creative is on strategy and represent strong work (be the lens of client)
Ideal candidates will have:
- 4-year degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 3 - 4 to for years of agency Account Management experience in shopper marketing and consumer packaged goods required
- Sound industry knowledge, solid judgement, and proven strategic planning skills
- Proven ability to build engaging relationships and grow existing business
- Highly organized individual with ability to prioritize work streams
- Ability to multitask efficiently and work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Coordinates with strategy, creative, technical and production teams, and outside agencies. Monitors progress of projects, provides feedback, implements changes and recommends solutions when faced with challenges
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High degree of attention to detail, striving for great work
- Creative and logical problem solver
- Experience in analyzing business performance and bringing forward recommendations.
- Prior retail planning and shopper execution highly preferred
