Kettle Coordinator

The Kettle Coordinator will deep-dive into The Salvation Army's iconic holiday Red Kettle Campaign to build volunteer and staff capacity for future holiday seasons. In conjunction with Development Staff, you will analyze successes and areas of improvement for group and individual volunteer recruitment and retention, overall campaign training, and logistics surrounding physical kettle drop-off and pick-up. You will have the opportunity to be a true leader as you meet with 12 different local offices to determine their unique priorities and create lists of best practices. Member Duties : -1- Analyze successes and areas of improvement from Red Kettle Campaigns of previous years, including volunteer engagement, productivity at each kettle through net income after expenditures, and creative kettle opportunities such as sporting events or holiday fairs -2- Research and cultivate relationships with organizations who may support, donate, and volunteer, helping each of our 12 locations with their recruitment efforts -3- Create bell ringer training updates and improvements, long-term kettle logistics planning, and online presence management
