Job Description

1.Pivotal Cloud Foundry (Tanzu Application Service): Very good understanding and hands on experience on TAS platforms. 2. Can have hands on experience on any other Cloud Foundry platforms as well. 3. Linux: A seasoned Linux Administrator and proficient in Shell scripting. - A minimum of 3 years' experience in hands on Pivotal Cloud Foundry administration. Must have worked in a production setup. Must have experience in performing release upgrades, patching, stemcell upgrades of PCF foundations. - Hands on experience of setting up CICD pipelines for PCF deployments. Must have experience in configuring key management service (like credhub) - Good knowledge and working experience on Linux Operating systems ( RHEL 5, 6, 7 ) - Strong understanding of Linux Networking/NFS/FTP/SAMBA/user administration/file permissions/Patching - Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP - Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions - Good Knowledge of troubleshooting HW issues & co-ordinating with Vendor to fix - Maintain best practices on managing foundations/clusters and services across all environments - Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes - Provide OS support for Filesystem create/extend/remove, Volume group create/extend/remove - Troubleshooting Performance related issues on the cluster level - Linux user management creating, changing group, and assign permission on resources - Creating and managing Volumes using LVM - Creating and managing PV, VG and LV. Extending/reducing the LV/VG size as per requirement - Scripting of any form - Shell/PowerShell, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript, Ansible scripting preferred. - Understanding of Virtualization and cloud environments. Preferably working knowledge of AWS, Openstack, VMWare vCloud, Azure. - Experience in creation of Cloud formation templates, terraform scripting, etc - Functional knowledge of other container platforms required - Broad technical background - understanding of storage and networking (in a virtualized environment) - Good flair for automation in combination with scripting tools - Good Interpersonal skills and an urge to gain and share knowledge. - Passionate to tackle challenges around Production Units in cloud environments. Keen to resolve issues in a real-time scenario - Should be aware of IT service management processes - ITIL trained. Preferably certified in ITIL foundation course. - Great customer service skills. Ability to probe issues with the customer, reproduce issues with the customer and drill down, provide analysis, provide feedback to Product development, effectively triage defects/tickets, Co-ordinate defect fixes and very effective customer engagement. - Willingness to be available on-call when required.
