Job description

Responsibilities

Possess a strong technical background in PeopleSoft to develop complex PeopleSoft programs and provide technical guidance to one or more developers and cross functional team members.

Perform research and provide technical direction to meet business needs with a focus on the Human Capital Management module as well as PeopleSoft Interaction Hub (Portal).

Analyze and assess the need for customizations versus workaround with delivered functionality.

Participate in Process Improvement work groups with customer agencies as needed

Analyze, research, and document Business rules for legacy application functions.

Possess a strong background in Oracle Structured Query Language (SQL) to be used to resolve data issues and diagnose problems

Provide and implement recommendations for Security at the Interaction Hub level and user access level

Produce documentation such as technical and functional documentation, job aids as well as detailed options documentation based on the requirements gathered from the customer.

Engage in migrations utilizing Phire and Application Designer

Administer and configure Phire

Provide support for environment upgrade activities.

Work in coordination with customers to resolve user-based issues.

Be able to work well in either a team or independent work setting

Assist with end user training efforts as needed.

Requirements

Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.

Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.

7 years of experience developing customizations, interfaces, and programs in a PeopleSoft environment developing with PeopleTools.

7 years of programming experience using PeopleSoft Application Designer with PeopleTools 8.53 or higher.

7 years of experience using SQL against an Oracle relational database to support PeopleSoft related tasks working in a UNIX environment.

7 years of experience with PeopleSoft Security.

6 years programming experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) version 9.2.

7 years of programming experience with PeopleSoft Interaction Hub 9.1

7 years of experience assisting with Phire administration and migration tasks.

7 years of experience with PeopleSoft Integration Tools like Integration Broker.
