PeopleSoft Cross Finance Functional Upgrade Analyst
Location: Remote with occasional onsite with travel paid by the client
Duration: 6+ month contract

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of and to support an exciting new project. You will be part of a broad team being assembled to support PS PUM and PeopleTools upgrade:

  • From Version 9.2 PI 34 to Version 9.2 PI 42.
  • PeopleTools from version 8.58 to version 8.59.
  • Involving Cross functional Finance Modules (General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Billing, Grants, Customer Contracts, and Project Costing).

Responsibilities:

  • Work with project team (functional leads, development teams and environment teams) on direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific project tasks related to upgrade activities within the covered modules.
  • Monitor, analyze, track and report milestones throughout the life of the project by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Analyze new features and provide demos to business partners to determine fit.
  • Re-apply customization in conjunction with application patches and tools upgrades.
  • Responsible for leading and coordinating with testing teams to develop test scenarios and test cases to conduct System testing, Integration testing and Regression testing within the covered modules.
  • Report on project status and progress to Project Management through the Enterprise Management Office representative.


Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to facilitate JAD sessions, record results, track issues and summarize results.
  • Experience working on PUM and PeopleTools upgrades.
  • Experience with PUM levels in scope involving business/process and Fit GAP analysis.
  • Broad knowledge and experience with cross functional Finance Modules (General Ledger, Accounts receivables, Billing, Grants, Customer Contracts, and Project Costing).
  • Experience in managing and/or contributing to technical solutions in a PeopleSoft domain.
  • Understanding of PeopleSoft Reporting tools (nVision, PS Query).
  • Strong Understanding and use of MS Excel to support testing and other activities.
