Job description

Technical Recruiter

6-11 months

*Potential to convert to permanent role

Remote - USA

Overview:

Our high-profile client's Recruiting Engine (RE) team is innovating in the recruiting space and looking for candidates who want to transform their careers! This team recognizes that many other careers have similar skillsets, concepts, and processes as those in recruiting, and they are passionate about providing opportunities for individuals to translate these valuable skills into the recruiting world. While candidates with prior recruiting experience are welcome to apply, they are equally excited about candidates with alternative work experience and transferable skillsets such as generating prospects/leads, building relationships, pipelining and data analysis, and selling/influencing.

Responsibilities:
In this unique and specialized Sourcer role, you will be responsible for attracting talent and maintaining a consistent candidate pipeline to hire Software Development Engineers (SDE's) for businesses across the Company. Since this role is exclusively focused on SDE recruiting, you will be able to dive deep into the SDE profile and truly master your understanding of it instead of having to split your focus across several job families (like in many other recruiting roles). In addition to understanding the SDE profile, this role also requires the ability to build relationships with these candidates to grow their interest in the exciting technical work being done across the Company.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Become an expert on the Company SDE profile and use that expertise to identify high quality candidates

  • Learn and use internal and external recruiting platforms/tools to find and engage candidates

  • Cultivate candidates' interest in the Company and the SDE role by crafting compelling outreach messaging to communicate value propositions, and further engage candidates live via phone and video

  • Develop Company business acumen in order to describe selling points of our various lines of business

  • Guide candidates on how to prepare for technical and behavioral interview questions

  • Develop and execute working backwards plans, using available metrics and dashboards to hit hiring goals

  • Will have access to a variety of recruiting tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Hired, Beamery, iCIMS, Sekout.io, and more.

We understand that embarking on a new career path can seem daunting, but don't worry - we've got you covered! Over your first 6 - 8 weeks, you'll participate in a comprehensive, phased onboarding program to help you develop the specialized and highly coveted skillset of a Technical Recruiter. And with so many tech companies relentlessly searching for software engineers, expanding your skillset into technical recruiting could open doors for future career opportunities, both within this Company and beyond.

If you want to work for a top tech company solving real world, high impact problems while prioritizing the customer experience above all else, this is the team for you! Ideal candidates thrive in startup-like, fast-paced environments, can roll up their sleeves to work hard and have fun, value challenging work, and the highly rewarding feeling that comes from getting the job done. We hope you'll join our team full of passionate, supportive, and collaborative individuals.

** Excellent opportunity to convert to a permanent position with this company. If hired into a permanent role, you would need to live near one of their hubs (Seattle, Arlington, Austin, Vancouver, Boston). However, for the duration of the temporary contract assignment, this position is remote from anywhere in the USA.
