Job description
Nexford University is looking for a recruiter to lead on our recruitment efforts with a focus on academic roles. The Recruiter will work on end to end recruitment including sourcing, screening and onboarding. You must be based in the Washington DC area to be considered for this job, the job is predominantly remote but you will need to go to the office once a week.

We are looking for a Recruiter who can play an active role in screening applicants, finding and deploying tools to increase efficiency within our recruitment processes. Nexford is a startup, we are looking for a young and dynamic Recruiter looking for an opportunity to add value and grow with a rapidly growing organization.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead on candidate sourcing, screening and hiring
- Assist with identifying tools and assessments to help increase the efficiency of candidate screening processes
- Prepare and review employee offers and contracts
- Periodically assist with other HR functions
The ideal candidate:
- Has a Bachelor's/College Degree in Human Resources, or related field
- 2 years of experience in HR - focused on recruitment
- Prior experience with tech startups is preferable
- Excellent communications skills (both oral and written) with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
- Tech-savvy and is able to adapt to new software easily
- Experience working in a fast-moving, high-volume working environment
- Demonstrated multitasking capability with a proven track record in meeting tight deadlines
- Strong planning, coordination, organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently, is highly driven, and a team player
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Flexible on working hours when needed to adapt to international time zones

This position classification has been defined as exempt and is not subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
