Recruiting Manager - ILS

In this role, the leader develops and implements recruiting support strategies for the GMS ILS business while maintaining compliance with employment laws and policies and procedures. The Recruiting Manager has a team of 5 or more recruiters reporting directly to them and will manage external recruiting resources. The preferred candidate will be someone already familiar with PAE's recruiting systems and processes.

Education & Experience:

  • 12 plus years of overall recruiting experience in government contracting
  • Minimum 10 years of recruiting leadership or managerial experience leading a team of 10 or more people.
  • 5 plus years working with OCONUS Program Managers and their needs
  • Bachelor's degreein Business, Human Resources, or related field; or 4 years of related recruiting experience
  • Working in a high volume fast paced recruiting team supporting multiple programs with varied requirements.
  • Deployment & Mobility
  • 24/7 Support for program transition of CONUS and OCONUS programs
  • Experience with USAID programs is a bonus
  • OFCCP, AAP & EEO
  • Clearance process


Responsible for:
  • Offers and other new hire documents for hiring managers
  • Proposal support to include:
    • LOI's
    • Sourcing
    • Market research
    • Gate Reviews
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to schedule phone and on-site interviews across multiple offices and time zones
  • Ensure recruiters:
    • Manage and keep all job postings current.
    • Process all data and maintain recruiting profiles in our Applicant Tracking System
    • Compliant interview process
  • Find creative ways to capture candidate's attention during initial reach-out stages.

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Expertise in problem solving, creativity and innovation to determine problem areas and provide fresh approaches to solving highly complex recruiting challenges
  • Ability to interact at an executive level and present to leadership.
  • Advanced analytical, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills required to direct and lead staff
  • Outstanding oral and written communication, ability to negotiate with all levels of staff
  • Advanced computer skill with Microsoft Office sufficient to perform complex analysis and communications work
  • Workday is a plus
