Job description

Summary
The Salesforce Business Analyst will plan and elicit requirements from stakeholders, ensure stakeholders understand the business value and required outcomes, and then ensure that the requirements are documented, communicated, and understood by the entire project team.
Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and drive Scrum meetings in close coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs, as well as the functional requirements and then deliver the artifacts (metrics, analyses, usage), as needed.
  • Obtain customer acceptance of the completed requirements.
  • Continuously acquire business knowledge of the dependent applications.
  • Plan and facilitate the elicitation and elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and then document them in the form of epics, stories, wireframes, business rules and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate the ongoing backlog grooming process, supporting Product Owner in defining value, establishing priorities, and selecting scope for upcoming releases and sprints.
  • Ensure stories are "ready" for upcoming sprints and facilitate sprint planning ceremonies.
  • Review the documented requirements with stakeholders; ensure developers and testers understand the stories and have a common understanding on how each story will be built, implemented, and tested.
  • Analyze new requests from stakeholders and determine if each request is a new story, a modification to an existing story, or already covered in an existing story; then add it to the backlog as appropriate.
  • Train the team on the requirements processes and tools in use for the project.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst.
  • Life & Annuity experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration and customization, as well as the data migration process involving legacy systems, reports, and dashboards.
  • Experience driving technical requirements from functional/business requirements, use cases, GUIs, screens, interface designs, and data.
  • CRM functional knowledge.
  • Agile experience.
  • Strong ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources.
