Salesforce Business Analyst Duration: 12+ month contract
Location: Lisle, IL / Remote

Job Description:
The Salesforce Business Analyst will work on a team responsible for delivering enterprise cloud technology solutions across many business units. They will play a key role in both new development and enhancements by serving as the primary interface between the Salesforce user community and the technical team.

Job Duties:

  • Establish strong partnerships with business areas, leveraging Salesforce functionality to increase Sales, Marketing, Dealer network, and Service capabilities across the enterprise.
  • Provide input to the strategic planning process for the Salesforce platform.
  • Serve as a functional lead on Salesforce projects.
  • Lead discovery and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Recommend alternate approaches.
  • Document business requirements and user stories.
  • Map requirements to out-of-box functionality within Salesforce
  • Support technical staff during development to ensure that solutions will meet the business requirements.
  • Support Agile software development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Configure minor Salesforce functionality to meet business requirements.
  • Create test cases and test scripts.
  • Conduct functional testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing, accurately documenting and prioritizing defects and re-testing resolved issues.
  • Create training materials, job aids, and system deployment communications.
  • Conduct stakeholder training.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5+ applicable experience with a BS in another technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in relevant field
  • Salesforce Admin certification preferred
  • Proven ability to succeed in fast paced, demanding cross-functional environment working with business users, project team members, IT development personnel
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle complexity
  • Strong understanding of systems.
  • Ability to understand technical terms and system design considerations
  • Curious, goal oriented and highly self-motivated with a passion for driving transformative change
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Enjoys people and creates raving fans
  • Experience soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and documenting requirements
  • Experience training end users
  • Hands on experience configuring Salesforce, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
  • Work experience in OEM manufacturing or aftermarket parts industry a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Excellent attention to detail
