Job description
AMSG has a requirement for a Senior SharePoint Business Analyst to support the VHA's Informatics organization. The ideal candidate can communicate effectively regarding Informatics Training Competencies, Skillset Assessments, and training mapping to competencies and skillsets. Candidate should be able to communicate on an executive level by preparing presentations and developing reports and must have advanced expertise in manipulating data in various Microsoft applications including: SharePoint, Java Script, PowerBi, TEAMS, Excel, Word, and Access.

Period of Performance: TBD
Education: BA or BS degree in Computer Systems or Training
Experience: Minimum 6 years' experience
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain a VA Public Trust
Responsibilities Include:
- Consult with the appropriate Points of Contacts to analyze information, review variance explanations, develop multiple data views, draft responses and edit and format in final form.
- Determine, implement, and evaluate business metrics to meet ongoing organizational or customer information needs.
- Analyze business operations and procedures.
- Manage Stakeholder engagement in including facilitation of Stakeholder meetings
- Document business operations processes and procedures.
- Analyze and report on complex data to meet customer needs.
- Manage process change.
- Develop and maintain SharePoint Informatics Training Site.
- Research Training for Informatics Training Site.
- Map Training to Informatics Competencies
- Manipulate Excel Spreadsheets.
- Monitor and Respond to requests from Group Mailbox.
- Running queries and reports on Access Database.
- Creating Presentations/Briefings for Informatics leadership.
- Create Job Aids in SharePoint Wikis.
- Edit Wiki style SharePoint pages.
- Use Java code in SharePoint content editor webparts to customize pages.
- Create and modify SharePoint lists and libraries using advanced features (columns, view, formulas, version control, etc).
- Create simple graphics for image maps using PowerPoint.

- Must be able to perform all functions of a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator and SharePoint Power User.
- Advanced expertise in manipulating data in various Microsoft applications including: SharePoint, Excel, Java Script, PowerBi, Word, Access, and Project.
- Microsoft SharePoint 2013: Site Administration and Design - Advanced
- Microsoft TEAMS - Advanced
- Microsoft Excel: Data manipulation, pivot tables - Advanced
- Microsoft Access: Data manipulation, queries, reports - Advanced
- JavaScript, XSLT, CSS coding and HTML - Basic
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
