Job description
The Senior Project Manager will support Sevita's enterprise-wide program management and process improvement office that is dedicated to leading performance improvement and optimization initiatives to drive improved quality, operational, and financial performance. The Senior Project Manager will support the company's objectives with a focus on high impact strategic projects. They will lead company-wide improvement projects to drive enhanced operations, scalability, efficiency, and performance to support Sevita's delivery of high quality services to the individuals we serve. The Senior Project Manager will lead key initiatives with a high degree of autonomy and will have the opportunity to move into a people manager position as the Performance Excellence team grows.
This position is remote and can be located anywhere in the U.S.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.
Strategic Initiatives: Lead opportunities for improvement within designated project areas and craft an impactful solution. This includes detailing the problem, organizing a cross-functional team, and proposing and managing a timely analysis with predetermined milestones. Recommendations will enable the executive management team to make critical go/no go decisions.
Program Management: Take ownership for the successful execution and implementation of initiatives, including project management and process improvement. This includes ensuring that all strategic initiatives are completed on time and with a quality of implementation that leads to impactful results. Compose project plans, lead works streams, and track the progress of intended deliverables and metrics. Effectively identify, raise, diagnose, and solve any risks or anomalies that impact the program.
Analysis: Will complete analyses on current business processes, operating model and staffing levels, and industry best practices to complete both quantitative and qualitative analyses that identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Communication: Communicate results, timelines and status, to a broad and targeted audience, including the most senior executives in the company, on an informal and formal basis.
Leadership: Influence and foster an organizational culture of innovation and collaboration across broader Sevita colleagues.
Performs other related duties and activities as required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree from a top-tier educational institution, MBA preferred
4-10 years of professional experience with preference for those with Health and Human Services industry and/or operational consulting experience
Formal training in one or more process improvement methodologies
PMP/agile certification and/or change management certification preferred
Ability to direct and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve both tactical and strategic goals.
Strong analytical skills, as well as facilitation, critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability driving performance excellence initiatives across a diverse set of services, employees, and geographies resulting in tangible quality, operational, and financial improvement
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a high degree of initiative.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
