Job Description
As a valued colleague on our team, you will collaborate with team in designing, producing, testing, or implementing moderately complex software, technology, or processes, as well as create and maintain IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities
The Senior Software Engineer role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities
- Independently determine the needs of the customer and create solution frameworks.
- Design and develop moderately complex software solutions to meet needs.
- Use a process-driven approach in designing and developing solutions.
- Implement new software technology and coordinate end-to-end tasks across the team.
- May maintain or oversee the maintenance of existing software.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Required Skills
- 3-5 years' experience in relevant fields - Financial Services or Software Development
- Bachelor degree in a technical field - Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required
- Full Stack / Technical Expertise in Python / R, Java, and AWS Technologies
- Proficiency in Unix / Linux environment and shell scripting
- Adherence to sound software development and change management practices like SDLC, Agile or CICD. Familiar with tools like Confluence, JIRA, Jenkins, CVS, Subversion, GIT
- Hands on experience working with large volume and highly complex data structures
- Excellent collaboration & communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work with stakeholders across multiple groups
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other engineering teams and key business stakeholders
- Master's Degree preferred. PhD in quantitative fields is a plus
- AWS Certified Developer Certification
- Experience in using business intelligence tools like Tableau
- Experience in implementation computer algorithms for financial models
- Experience of developing in Angular framework, REST, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Hands on experience working with financial data, pricing analytics and cash flows generation or financial modeling and analysis
- Knowledge of econometric modeling and statistical analysis
- Knowledge of AI or machine learning or other data science techniques
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks like Cucumber and Selenium Web Driver
- Knowledge of advanced SQL skills and ability to design and test software interfacing large data systems
- Knowledge of single-family mortgage finance highly desirable. Knowledge of multi-family mortgage finance and capital markets
- The group of skills related to Product Development including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.
- Expertise in service management concepts for networks and related standards such as ITIL practices or SDLC
- Experience using software and computer systems' architectural principles to integrate enterprise computer applications such as xMatters, AWS Application Integration, or WebSphere
- Experience defining and managing changes to documents, code, computer programs, websites, and other files to enable collaboration and ensure teams are working from the latest version
- Skills related to Product Testing including testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology
- Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
- Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
