Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst - for global law firm. This position can be located in Washington, DC, or New York city.

Remote interviews and remote work during COVID shutdown.

* Option to work a hybrid position of 3 days remote after office reopens.
The Strategic Pricing team develops creative pricing solutions and implements project management best practices ensuring the Firm meets financial goals. The Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst will develop effective responses to client requests for proposals (RFPs).
Primary duties: Work with key stakeholders; lawyers and staff, to support the development of profitable pricing solutions in response to client RFPs and informal pricing requests. This position is a key resource for business and client development teams. Ensure fee proposals are consistent with the strategic goals and appropriately capture value. Advise/educate lawyers on potential risks/rewards of alternative fee arrangements, such as fixed fees, partial and full contingent matters, and blended rates. Assist with the development of financial tools, processes, and best practices in relation to the pricing and business development process. Deliver excellent customer service in response to lawyer and client requests.

Position Requirements:
Knowledge of financial/accounting principles acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent. Must have a minimum of two years of financial analytics and/or pricing experience in a fast-paced, service-intensive environment. Prior law firm experience pricing RFPs is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role. Ability to summarize complex quantitative concepts clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing for internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint. High level of proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet functionality. Proven ability to manipulate data effectively and present findings to management and lawyers.
