Remote position

IT Associates, Inc., a boutique IT Staffing / Recruiting firm located in the western suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a remote-based Senior IT Recruiters to join our growing team. Our client dedicated teams are on the cutting edge of recruiting, delivering quality IT candidates for Contract, Contract-to-Hire and Dire Hire positions across the country for our Direct Clients and VMS Programs. Our Sales and Recruiting teams are supported with all the necessary tools and technology to foster collaboration and ensure both client and employee satisfaction.

As an IT Recruiter, you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with Sales and Hiring Managers to understand the requirements of each client and each vacancy to carry out the recruitment process according to their needs.
  • Developing and applying an in-depth knowledge of the job specifications to include experience, skills, and behavioral competencies needed for success in each role.
  • Demonstrating the ability to develop candidate pipelines through candidate sourcing, reviewing qualifications and resumes of potential candidates, and conducting initial candidate interviews (phone and video) to determine overall fit.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure candidates are prepared for client interviews.
  • Responsible for extending offers, providing compensation negotiations, and facilitating the placement of candidates to start the hiring process.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports through all phases of the recruitment process while working within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other HRIS tools.
  • Maintaining a close relationship with candidates after the hiring process is complete.
  • Occasionally working in collaboration with the Sale Team in the development of new client business/relationships.

Ideally, you will:

  • Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of full life cycle sourcing and recruiting experience focused on direct client related positions and/or positions through high-volume VMS programs.
  • Have a demonstrated history of filling Contract and Direct Hire positions; knowledge and experience within IT recruiting or sourcing is highly preferred.
  • Collaborate and operate well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Adhere to a strong work ethic with a sense of commitment and the ability to communicate confidently in person, over the phone and online.
  • Be knowledgeable working with various ATS or CRM Systems and IT Sourcing Tools (Bullhorn, Dice, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.)
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook - or similar Office Suite experience)
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or have relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
