Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively.

This position requires an employee to be onsite 1-3 times per week.

CCA's Global Aftersales Engineering organization has responsibility for the service result readiness of every GM vehicle globally. These include: service part release, service information, labor time guide, service part catalogue, diagnostic software, service programming, pre-delivery inspection forms, customer service information and special tools. Responsible for efficiently and effectively facilitating the execution of Aftersales Engineering work within their specific function.

GM'sWork Appropriately guidelines provide an excellent opportunity for team members to model their work based on their business and personal needs. This position is classified within the Hybrid Work Appropriately Modelallowing for some work flexibility.

About the Role:

Weseekan aspiring engineer to join our aftersales engineering service team. The level of responsibility for the position will be matched with the experience of the team member hired. The person in this role will be responsible for representing Service Engineering during the vehicle development process and partnering with product engineering teams to achieve world class serviceabilityforsteering,suspension,mounts,brakes, wheels and tires.

Additional Job Description

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Automotive Technology or equivalent experience

Experience Required

Demonstrated technical knowledge of Chassissystems,HVAC systems and/or component designs and strivesto become a specialized expert

Knowledge of vehicle development process, change management, immersive/virtualengineering systemsand proficient with Microsoft Office software

Works efficiently and effectively crossfunctionallywith individuals and teams to solve a problem or complete a project.

Activelyparticipatesin various engineering teams and forumsraising concerns and offering feasible solutions

Exhibits appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners to meet mutual goals

Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with others

Seek opportunities for collaborative experiences to help accomplish organizational goals

Able and willing to learn quickly. Strives for continuous self-improvement through formal and informal learning

Holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GM's core behaviors

ValuedExperiencesand Skills:

Automotive service parts experience at the wholesale or retail level

Manufacturing, vehicle engineering experience

Working knowledge of automotive service practices and procedures

Demonstrated knowledge of vehicle systems

Demonstrated GM dealership or field experience

Hands on experience in automotive diagnosis and repair

High level of oral and written communication skills
