Social Media Manager - for top tier global law firm in Washington, DC.

This position will deliver strategic development and implementation of social media-related features for firm visibility initiatives. Candidate will manage day-to-day social media activities, such as creating consistent, meaningful content on social media platforms while managing a high volume of daily posts. Ideal candidate is experienced in the use of social media for a large professional firm, and able to work well under pressure with all levels of firm members.

**This position offers a hybrid work schedule of remote and in person.

Responsibilities for this position:
• Develop social media strategy/help enhance social media content across multiple channels.
• Create interesting/creative social media content about the firm, lawyers, and practice groups.
• Ensure consistency of the message platform/integration into all communications.
• Develop relationships with attorney in all practice areas and promote the use of Amplify to expand reach on social channels. Train stakeholders on best practices for using Amplify.
• Create social media campaigns promoting high impact content and events.
• Explore/pitch ideas to the Director to leverage firm content in new/creative ways.
• Monitor social media channels/campaigns and conduct competitor analysis.
• Review analytics and adjust social media strategy and tactics as needed.
• Collaborate with other teams including digital marketing, business development, events, public relations, and graphic design to maximize campaign impact and ensure brand consistency.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in social media, marketing, communications/journalism, or related field.
Five to seven years' experience in a social media role within a law firm, professional services firm, or PR agency. Experience with graphic design and/or video software ideal. Superior communication skills. Proven time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and with a highly collaborative team. Strong multitasking and prioritization skills. High attention to detail. Sound judgment. Proficiency with social media technology and software including MS Office Suite, HootSuite, Amplify, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
