OVERVIEW:

CoStar Group, the leading provider of commercial real estate information, analytics and online marketplaces, is looking to fill a role on the Global P2P team of CoStar. The Sourcing Lead shall contribute to the development of and is responsible for executing the defined sourcing strategy for assigned category.

The Sourcing Lead will have accountability for managing assigned supply base and catalogue content and educating the business partners on best practices in the requisition-process, as well as negotiating, managing and maintaining contracts long with KPI's.

The Sourcing Lead takes full ownership of managing all aspects of the category contracts. The Sourcing Lead will take a leading role in driving local and regional cost savings, contributing to overall ROI of procurement performance in line with the overall category strategy. In regard to the CoStar P2P optimization initiative, the Sourcing Lead is expected to manage and drive improvements in efficiency and automation within the requisition to pay process and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

In addition, the Sourcing Lead will take the lead in managing the implementation of a global eProcurement system and regional as well as local development. Further, he/she will provide adequate support to the relevant Senior Director, Procure-to-Pay on arising sourcing related tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Execution of sourcing decisions for assigned category

* Allocation of contracts to demand requests

* Performance responsibility for assigned category and supply base on regional and local level and its reporting a communication within the category team

* Management of supplier base and ensure quality in supply

* Responsible for savings and KPI achievements and its reporting of the supply base

* Effectively managing requisition to pay process

* Procurement process optimization with the agreed field of engagement

* Active and adequate support of the Senior Director, Procure-to-Pay and Senior Manager, Procure-to-Pay

* Conduct negotiation of products and services on regional and local level

* Supporting the Business Partners in developing commodity and supplier strategies

* Execute sourcing strategies defined by the Senior Director, Procure-to-Pay and Senior Manager, Procure-To-Pay

* Support sourcing process, identifying regional and local supply needs, soliciting quotes, tendering and negotiating supplier contracts

* Analysis of supply markets for the assigned commodity groups in alignment and under supervision of Senior Director, Procure-to-Pay

* Closely interact with Business Partner's and act as a central entry point for requisitions related to the assigned category

* Initiate, assist the Business owners in set up of purchase orders in line with contracts or single-case procurement activities as: expediting, changes, delivery, cancellations, acknowledgements, verify requisition against catalogue availability, etc

* Manage and track supplier reliability and administer improvement program

* Develop supplier performance reporting and establish standard process for monitoring and evaluation

* Maintain contracts, ensure central accessibility of contract terms and conditions, support tool development for tracking and maintaining contracts

* Support implementation and increase utilization of eProcurement system from a regional perspective

* Drive early procurement involvement and pro-actively conduct internal customer care

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in sciences, supply chain, finance, or related

* 1 year sourcing experience in Marketing or Media category utilizing ERP system (SAP/Oracle)

* 2+ years experience with sourcing, databases, analytics, contracts and procurement of indirect materials and services

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Prior experience setting up suppliers and agreements in Oracle

* Fluency in Spanish, German or French is a plus

* Strong customer care focus

* Negotiation skills and good experience in supplier management

* Ability to work well with a team and independently

* Knowledge of procurement principles, process and price/cost analysis methodology

* Knowledge of procurement relevant legal terms and methodologies
