Job description

This is long term contract position. 100% remote. Looking for someone that has worked within Supply Chain and Inventory. Experience working with "R" statistical Reporting tool is a huge plus.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis on ERP systems including LN, SAP, AX, D365
  • Perform data analysis on financial systems, custom developed applications and HR related systems
  • Support Business Intelligence software systems including a financial consolidation system and reporting applications
  • Develop Cognos and PowerBI reports for financial analysis and management reporting; create SQL-statement-based queries to facilitate data analysis
  • Support data models to enhance BI reporting
  • Engage and interact with business users to identify requirements and develop documents for the reporting needs of the business.
  • Engage and interact with business users to troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues
  • Work with users to address ad-hoc data analysis requests; determine the proper course of action; and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to properly manage one's own workload
  • Troubleshoot data and BI application issues; fully analyze the impact and determine the strategy for a resolution; assist in the implementation of a solution
  • Escalate top priority, production-critical issues to the appropriate support staff
  • Make recommendations of perceived solutions to potential problem areas and methods for improvement
  • Communicate effectively
  • May perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, or related Technology field, Engineering, Math, Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years Business Intelligence experience
  • Direct experience with BI/Reporting tools
  • Direct experience with Supply Chain and Inventory data sets
  • Direct experience with ERP systems, preferably LN, SAP, AX, or D365
  • Direct experience with data analysis and database administration
  • Direct experience with business requirements development and analysis
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
