Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will enhance and/or refine existing applications and systems to meet new technical requirements with support from leadership, and perform data analysis at various stages of projects to ensure development of a quality application.

Responsibilities

The Systems Analyst role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities

  • Product Development - Work closely with product team in identifying & documenting system (technology) requirements, design technology solutions to meet product requirements. Develop, review system test strategy, detailed system test execution plan to meet Non-Functional Requirements. (NFR). Help with design & implementation of monitoring & alerting. Create detailed product requirements for observability and help the team with implementation.
  • Incident Management & Escalation - Work with operations team in maintaining smooth production operation, troubleshoot, fix production issues, incident management & issue escalation to leadership team. Conduct detailed post incident reviews using 5 levels of Why and summarize the takeaways to relevant stakeholders. Identify root cause patterns and help the team to come up with short term & long-term solution options.
  • Documenting Tribal Knowledge - Help with creating and maintaining product user documents, Knowledge articles, run book as part of YBYO (You build & You operate) model. Create relevant product backlog with detailed acceptance criteria. Maintain various product artifacts such as technology architecture & system context diagrams. Help the team with well-defined processes and document with future incidents.
  • Change Champion - Act as catalyst in proposing & implementing process simplifications, automating manual tasks with razor focus on product quality and end user experience. Excellent problem solving skills, oral & written communication skills. Help leadership team with collecting & presenting various metrics related SLA, incidents etc. Ability to work independently as well as part of a bigger team.
Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Required Skills
  • Automated Testing Experience
  • Frameworks: Test Automation Tools/Framework(s) such as Selenium & Cucumber
  • AWS Services - S3, Lambada, Batch Fargate, RDS, Redshift & EMR
  • Experience with Python, Shell Scripting
  • SQL programming skills
  • Tools - Terraform(CICD), Splunk, Kibana, Jenkins, Open Telemetry/Grafana, Excel & PowerPoint, Tableau/MicroStrategy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a bigger team
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of Financial Products, Risk Management, Portfolio Management will be a plus but not mandatory
  • A background in Finance or degree in Finance (Undergrad or Graduate program)
  • ITIL, AWS certifications would be good to have
Skills
  • Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as Crystal Reports, Excel, or SSRS
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Skilled in creating and managing databases with the use of relevant software such as MySQL, Hadoop, or MongoDB
  • Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
