Job description

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer is looking for an Infrastructure Technical Specialist contractor to provide technical assistance to computer system users on a variety of issues such as identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems:

1-5 yrs. conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty

1-5 yrs. preparing complex technical documentation

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience

work experience in a fast-paced IT service desk environment, with expertise in responding via multiple channels (e.g., telephone, email, chat). -5Years

experience with an IT service management ticketing system such as Zendesk, Remedy, or ServiceNow -4 Years

experience working in a Windows operating system environment, with current knowledge of Windows 10. - 5 Years

Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite of applications, as well as other desktop utilities, Active Directory, and endpoint security tools. -3 Years

Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware and associated peripherals, tablets, and mobile devices -4 Years

Certification in ITIL Foundation version 3 or later /Relevant Microsoft certifications/ Knowledge of best practice desktop support principles - 3 Years

Providing Service Desk support -5 Years

Managing Windows OS images and environment -5 Years

Managing workflow in an ITSM ticketing system - 4 Years

Customer service/deskside support - 4 Years

Verbal/written communications skills - 6 Years

Implementing ITIL principles Desired 3 Years
