Job description

The selected individual/s will be a member of the HCM Cloud Support team and will be responsible for the execution of day to day operational work supporting HR business processes. administrative processes and maintenance duties of Workday. You will also be expected to perform provision of ongoing support/testing for business process configurations and integrations between Workday and other applications.

Functional & Technical Design/Solution:

  1. Serve as the functional and technical point of contact for HR business subject matter experts, HR administrators and IT contacts for Workday and HR issues.
  2. Support HR business teams in their day to operations by providing functional and technical expertise in Workday.
  3. Lead the design and process development of HR business processes to support the HR service delivery.
  4. Create/generate Workday reports and configuring the Workday business process steps.
  5. Coordinate with IT and other stakeholders and manage an end-to-end HCM business solutions.
  6. Work with HR Business teams to gather detailed business requirements, in support of enhancement of business processes. Advise Business of various configuration options in Workday.
  7. Partner with cross-functional HR and technology teams to lead Workday system related projects, including system releases/upgrades, enhancement packages, and process redesign.
  8. Advise HR teams, including subject matter experts and leadership on HR technology requests.
  9. Manage the system process flow maps.
  10. Facilitate configuration evaluation and review with administrators to ensure consistency, efficient use of each Workday module, and innovative use of technology.
  11. Conduct and facilitate Workday systems testing, identifying discrepancies and formulating a remediation plan.
  12. Serve as a partner across finance, HR, technology, and other key stakeholders to document, test, and remediate compliance related matters.
  13. Enforce service management requirements related to documentation of workday related configuration or data integration changes along with other required artifacts in alignment with IT Service Management policies.
  14. Manage and facilitate internal and external audit activities.

Operations & Maintenance:

  1. Manage Workday HCM platform, business process configurations, related data integrations, security configurations, security compliance
  2. Maintain system stability and resolve high impact issues
  3. Develop and implement fixes for bugs and issues found in production after continuous deployments
  4. Proactively research and suggest enhancements to existing architecture/functionality

Basic Qualifications:

  1. A Master's degree, or equivalent, in Human Resources, IT or related field, plus a minimum of eight years of relevant professional work experience, or Bachelor's degree plus fourteen years of relevant professional work experience
  2. Min 4 years of experience with Workday HCM system supporting HCM, Benefits, Recruitment, Compensation, Payroll. Deep knowledge of Workday's Business Process Framework and Security Experience with Workday Staffing BP
  3. Solid understanding of HR, Benefits and Payroll processes and their inter-dependencies Hands on experience with EIB loads
  4. Advanced report writing skills
  5. Completion of Workday HCM training
  6. Excellent communication skills and relationship building
  7. Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
  8. Success working in an environment with limited information and ambiguity - you will be the SME for all things Workday
  9. Collaborative approach across functional area leadership, Executive Directors, and corporate office employees
  10. Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to fully drive initiatives to completion
  11. Solution-oriented, resourceful, and self-motivated with the ability to train and mentor staff on Workday functionality
  12. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  13. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum concepts with experience operating in Scrum teams
  14. Knowledge of ITIL concepts
  15. Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
