You are:
The Workday Business Designer. Reviewing OPM Federal Payroll processes/transactions across the hire-to-retire lifecycle, documenting and creating business scenarios to test the Workday product, analyzing the Workday product based on Federal Payroll processes, and conducting a fit/gap of the Workday functionality. Working with a team of resources to create a project plan, assigning resources, documenting issues and action items, and communicating with HRaaS leadership the status of the project.
The work:

  • Serve as an escalation point for critical functional issue resolution
  • Provide subject matter expertise to aid in decision making related to the functional solution
  • Architect Workday Payroll solution to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated
  • Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices
  • Demonstrate design options using prototyping
  • Understand and apply Workday and Accenture methodologies
  • Provide the Project Manager with status updates and keep them apprised of overall project status
  • Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management to achieve project objectives
  • Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices
  • Support innovation through the creation of new industry leading methods and assets

Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of Workday, Payroll, HRIS or Finance Implementations; or relevant industry experience
  • Experience managing teams of 1+ persons
  • Travel up to 25%

  • Recently been in a leadership role
  • Consulting experience
  • Workday Payroll or Finance Certification(s)
  • Experience implementing Federal Workday with a certified Workday implementer
  • Experience supporting Federal HCM Practices in a functional or technical capacity

This position is also available in the St. Louis, MO location

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is 91,900 - 128,599 and information on benefits offered is here
