Business Analyst Position
Summary:
Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the Data Analyst will be responsible for creating reports and the analysis of data. The position is also responsible for research, collection, analysis, and presentation of the Company's operational and financial data. Must have the ability to work with multiple departments within the organization in an effort to coordinate analytics to enhance operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
· Support business initiatives through data analysis
· Identify, create, collect, and manage data required to support and improve business performance
· Generate easy-to-interpret reports based on collected data
· Own actuals to budget/ forecast data
· Diagnose problems and identify opportunities
· Responsible for ensuring that data includes validation criteria which reasonably covers all areas necessary for accuracy
· Serve as the subject matter expert on data of operational excellence
· Collaborate with operations teams and ensure consistent alignment is in place
· Collaborate with BI developers during their design and development efforts to provide support for their analysis of the dashboard
· Assist in development of KPI report production, automation, and validation
· Run manual and automated dashboards
· Run automation dashboard projects
· Communicate key insights and findings to operational teams
· Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the internal customer
· Provide recommendations for possible process changes to help optimize current procedures in support of maximizing outcomes
· Conduct targeted audits of reports to promote compliance, positive experience, optimize outcomes, and ensure high-value impactful procedures are in place
· Work with the management team to prioritize suggested changes to existing processes and frameworks
· Provide leadership by proactively communicating with stakeholders and users to ensure needs are being addressed and cross-team dependencies are identified
· Other duties and projects as assigned
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
· 4-6 years of business analysis experience, preferably in healthcare
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
· BI software such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred
· Project management experience preferred
